Egg-citing News! We’ll be dashing for eggs at Randall Oaks Park. Hop on over for some springtime fun! Preregistration closes on March 31 at 12:00 pm. Space is limited. We will not be able to accommodate same day registration. Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Hunts will begin promptly at the designated time. In case of inclement weather the Egg Hunt will be held at the Randall Oaks Recreation Center. Watch your email for notifications and/or sign up for Rainout Line notifications.

to hunt for eggs in the pool? This is the PERFECT event for them! Join us for an egg hunt in the Rakow Center Indoor Pool. Bags will be supplied to put the “scooped up” eggs. Please plan to check-in 15-minutes before the event begins. The event will start promptly. Your child should be poolside, wearing swimming attire, and ready to go.

Kite Fly Saturday, April 29 Randall Oaks Recreation Center 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Join us as we celebrate Flying 4 Kids, a statewide Kite Fly to promote park districts, recreation agencies and the park district youth license plate. Bring your kites and enjoy a day out in the park, playing and exploring wind and motion.

A StoryWalk® transforms the pages of a children’s storybook into signs placed sequentially along the walking path at two of our parks. Please share your photos with us by posting them on social media with the hashtag #DTPDStoryWalk and tag us.

Values Accountability | Communication Photo/Video Policy The District occasionally takes photographs or video of participants for promoting/advertising our programs, services, events, activities, and facilities in our brochures, website or agency social media, and other promotional avenues. By regis tering for, participating in or attending District programs, events, or other activities, the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) irrevocably agrees to the use and distribution by the Park District of his or her image (or of his minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic repro ductions of such programs, events and activities for any purpose without inspection or approval and without compensation, rights to royalties or any other consideration now and in the future. Refund Policy If a program is canceled, a full refund will be given. Refunds will be considered for medical reasons if at least half of the program remains. Requests for refunds must be made prior to the program’s completion. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the instruction, a Refund/Transfer Request form must be filled out prior to the third class meeting. Your input on this form will help us focus on where improvement is needed. To receive a refund, please fill out a Refund/Transfer Request form available at the Rakow Center and the Randall Oaks Recreation Center front desks or on the website. Mail, fax, drop off or email this form to a Guest Services Manager at guestservices@dtpd.org. Upon receiving your completed form, we will process your class refund which will take approximately two weeks. Refunds are subject to a $5 service charge. Approved refunds will be prorated if the class has already started. No refunds for gift cards will be allowed. NSF checks – a $10 service charge will be addressed on all NSF checks. Gift cards may be used toward any Park District membership or programming. Due to a large amount of information provided in the Dundee Township Park District seasonal program guide a change may occur regarding days, times, fees, or other information after publication. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will inform you of any changes as quickly as possible. For the most up to date information, please check our website www.dtpd.org RECREATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (RAP) RAP provides financial assistance for Dundee Township residents (or resident eligible) with children under the age of 18 who wish to participate in Dundee Township Park District programs. To become a RAP participant, please complete a confidential application (available in Spanish and English) that is available at the Rakow & Randall Oaks Recreation Centers, and can be downloaded at www.dtpd.org/registration-information. The first day of school will be a meet and greet your teacher with preschoolers and their parents/ guardians. Children in our preschool program are actively involved in a curriculum that stresses the social, emotional, physical, and academic aspects of their development. Younger children are taught skills for building strong self-reliance and positive social interaction. Children ages 4-5 prepare for kindergarten based on District 300 expectations through exposure to a variety of academic units and social/emotional learning. Piano Classes 6 years & older Piano Lessons go beyond traditional lessons and make learning piano exciting by engaging the total musician. Students train their ears to hear, voice to sing, hands to play, and eyes to read music. Students perform for each other, play games to learn notes and rhythms, learn to write music, play in ensembles, as well as participate in recitals! Students who have previously taken lessons are welcome to be in the intermediate or advanced classes or take the beginner class to refresh their skills. Improvising and accompanying along with learning a more challenging repertoire is a part of the intermediate/advanced classes. A $40 material fee will be collected at the first class.
