Parent/TotSoccer -SportsRUs 3-4 years with parent It’s time to team up with mom or dad in this pint-sized sports class. This program is perfect for toddlers who are full of energy and parents who are looking for an introduction to soccer. With the use of smaller sized soccer balls, players will learn the basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and goaltending. Instructors will work with participants on good sportsmanship, participation, and teamwork. Games will be played at the end of each class. Tot Track & Field - Sports R Us 3-6 years We have found this exciting class to be just what parents need to give their children a positive first step into running and fitness. Participants will learn proper warm-ups and stretching exercises along with fun track and field activities to help build self-confidence, gross/fine motor skills and overall coordination. On the last day of class they will have a fun track and field meet. Contractual 22958-01 April 10-May 15 M/4:30-5:15 pm $63(R)/$78(NR) RORC 4-5 years with parent Nerf Combat is fun for all ages. At this age, it is common for kids to be shy and nervous when coming to a class with many other kids their age. When having the chance to walk around and play with their parents at the same time as the other kids, they begin to gain social comfort. The coaches of this class will lead fun games that include both parents and kids to teach them the basics of Nerf Combat, but more importantly simply create a fun environment. All MUST wear eye protection. Soccer & T-Ball -Sports R Us 3-4 years This class is perfect for little ones full of energy and parents looking to introduce soccer and T-ball. Socialization, teamwork, following directions, key motor skills and having fun will be the focus of this non-competitive environment. For the first three weeks of class, we will focus on soccer skills and in the second three weeks, we will work on baseball skills. A fun game will be played at the end of each class. Children will learn base running, catching, throwing, and hitting from a tee. Our goal is for each child to have fun, experience success and understand the fundamentals of baseball. Equipment will be provided; however, each child will need to bring a glove. Soft baseball will be used. Each week new games will be introduced to improve the child’s skill level, knowledge level and most impor tantly their love for the game. Skills will be taught through fun games and drills.
