Swim Instructor Training 15-55 years Want to become a licensed swim instructor? Sign up for a swim instructor training session this spring. Learn the necessary skills that allow you to become a licensed swim instructor. Training and licensure are through SGE. Participants must attend ALL scheduled classes. The Dundee Township Park District will recruit swim instructors for employment from these classes. Sign up for a lifeguard training session this spring. Learn the necessary skills that allow you to become a licensed lifeguard. Training and licensure are through SGE. Requirements: Swim continuously 200 meters, retrieve a 10 lb. diving brick from 10 ft. of water, tread water for 1 minute with no hands, Participants must attend ALL scheduled classes. The Dundee Township Park District will recruit lifeguards for employment from these classes. We are always looking for professional employees.*Note: Taking this class does not guarantee employment.

Aqua Babes 6 months-3 years with parent This parent/child program aims to help infants or toddlers become comfortable in and around the water with a parent or guardian. Parents will learn techniques to orient their children with the water and supervise water activities safely. IMPORT ANT NOTES TO PARENTS: All children who are not potty trained must wear reusable aqua diapers. A parent must be in the water with their child.

Private Swim Lessons (Month toMonth) All Ages All private lessons are held during various lap swim and/or open swim hours. LESSONS ARE SET UP BASED ON STAFF AND POOL AVAILABILITY. To Register • Email your completed form to meschenbach@dtpd.org • Once we have received your form, the instructor will call you to find a time that works best. Private Lesson (ONE child/adult per 1/2 hour lesson): 1 Lesson 4 Lessons Per Month $30(R)/$36(NR) $100(R)/$121(NR) Private Family Lessons (up to 3 children in the same family) 1 Lesson 4 Lessons Per Month $50(R)/$56(NR) $125(R)/$146(NR) Payment Policy: Please bring payment to your first scheduled private lesson. Cancellation Policy: 24-hour notice must be given when canceling a private lesson or the client will be charged for the session. Exceptions will be made in cases of emergency, determined by the Aquatic Supervisor. Any child not toilet trained must wear reusable aqua diapers (available for purchase) .
