Events Where the fun doesn’t stop!

Fishing Day All Ages Join us for a family fishing day! Equipment is provided, or bring your own. Each child will receive a tackle box and enjoy prizes, crafts, games, and giveaways. Registration includes a 30-minute fishing session with instruction if needed. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided. An Illinois fishing license is required for participants ages 16 and older. Please indicate the number of children under 16 who will be fishing when registering. Preregistration is required by August 21 at 12:00 p.m.

Fall StoryWalk All Ages A StoryWalk® brings a children’s storybook to life with pages displayed along walking paths at our parks.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Mont pelier, VT, in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. It’s Fall by Reneé Kurilla Sept. 8-Dec. 10 ROP (path to the Hidden Playground) Drive-in Movie All Ages Join us for a Drive-In Movie of Toy Story 5 at the Dolphin Cove Parking Lot! Audio will be broadcast through your vehicle’s radio, so you can watch from the comfort of your car or set up blankets and chairs by your open trunk for a classic outdoor movie experience. 45405-01 Oct. 2 F/7:00-9:30 pm $15(R)/$20(NR) per vehicle RA Boo Thru All Ages A Halloween family event you won’t want to miss! Family Camping Festival All Ages Enjoy a summer camp out at the Zoo! Bring your tent, sleeping bags, dinner, and family—we’ll provide guided Zoo tours, a campfire with S’mores, and breakfast. Clean, lit washrooms will be available overnight. The fee is per person; children under 2 are free. Dia De Los Muertos Celebration Join us for a family-friendly Día de los Muertos celebration honoring loved ones who have passed. Refund Policy If a program is canceled for any reason, a full refund will be issued to each participant. All other refunds are subject to a $5 service charge. To request a refund for any other reason, please complete the Refund/Transfer Request Form available at the Rakow Center or Randall Oaks Recreation Center Guest Service desks or download at https://www. dtpd.org registration-information/. You may mail, drop off or email this form to a Guest Services Manager at guestservices@dtpd.org. • If you are not satisfied with the quality of a program, you must attend two class sessions and fill out the Refund/Transfer Request Form prior to the third class meeting. A full refund will then be given. Your input on this form will help us identify where improvement is needed. • If you are not able to participate in a program due to medical reasons, please submit a doctor’s note along with the Refund/Transfer Request Form. If class has already started, a refund may be prorated. At least half of the program/activity must remain to be eligible to receive a refund. • All other refunds must be submitted one week prior to the start of the program. • Direct individual expenses incurred such as T-shirts, uniforms, costumes, etc. will be deducted from refunds. If a refund is approved, a receipt will be emailed to the household after processing. We reserve the right to issue a refund in the form of household credit. If a refund is approved for returned payment: • Original payment by cash or check will receive a refund in the form of a check. • Original payment paid by credit/debit card will receive credit on the card with which payment was made, when possible. Submission of a Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund. All refund requests are subject to review and approval by the program supervisor.
