Educational Traveling Animal Ambassadors Winter Break Zoo Camp See Page 25 The Randall Oaks Zoo's Traveling Animal Ambassadors bring the wild to you! Meet amazing animals up close, enjoy a picnic in our scenic shelters, let the kids burn off energy on the playgrounds, and explore wide-open spaces for games and fun! Centerville Schoolhouse Step back in time at the Centerville Schoolhouse and experience what school was like in the 1800s—history made fun! Reservations Required • Fee: $50 per tour (max of 30 people per tour) • (847) 551-4310 Wildlife and Wine 21 years & older Discover the magic of the zoo after hours with an unforgettable evening of painting, wine, and fun! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or have never picked up a brush, there’s no need to worry— Blue Jean Painting by Tara will guide you step by step to create your own masterpiece inspired by the Randall Oaks Zoo animals. We’ve got everything covered: all painting supplies are provided, and you can sip on wine, soda, or water as you unleash your creativity. Make pies for the goats, camel, alpacas, sheep, cows, and pig with healthy foods and see how they enjoy your creations. We will “bake” first and then tour the Zoo to share the joy of the season. Sponsor a Scarecrow During Randall Oaks Zoo Fall Festival September 26-November 1 Gather your family, friends, or business associates for the Great Scarecrow Build on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20. Entry Deadline: Tuesday, September 15 | Sponsorship Fee: $50 All Scarecrow Sponsors Receive • One Scarecrow frame to dress and decorate. Bring clothes and any extras you want to add! • A sign featuring your group’s name will be placed next to your Scarecrow. • Recognition in the Zoo newsletter and on the Randall Oaks Zoo Facebook page.
