Fun with Flags and Sabre Spinning-All Levels 10-17 years “Toss a Flag; Catch the Fun!” Learn flag and sabre spinning, toss ing, technique, and short routines while building coordination and confidence. Students are grouped by age and experience. Flag and sabre equipment provided. 44238-01 Oct. 13-Oct. 27 Tu/4:30-6:00 pm $40(R)/$60(NR) RA *No Class: 11/24 Competition Indoor/ Color Guard Teams 10-19 years Flag classes and marching band might be over, but winter color guard season is just getting started with two team offerings for ages 10 to 14 and ages 14 to 19! Perform, dance, spin flag, and build friendships while competing in Midwest Color Guard Cir cuit shows in the Chicago suburbs from late January through Championships on Saturday, April 3, with Allegiance Color Guard Organization. Family and friends are invited to a showcase per formance on December 16 at 7:30 pm. Classes end December 15, with rehearsals resuming January 5 in Dundee and select weekends in Dundee/Marengo through early April- detailed schedules provided in November. Learn basic spinning, tossing, and technique, and short routines while building coordination and confidence. Students are grouped by age/skill and may repeat Level 1. Includes equipment and T-shirt. Showcase October 6, 6:30 pm; optional Boo Thru performance October 16. 44236-00 Aug. 25-Oct. 6 Tu/5:30-7:00 pm $85(R)/$105(NR) RA 9-15 years Level 2 is for students with prior flag/color guard experience. Learn spinning, tossing, dance, technique, exchanges, and intermediate choreography, with instruction tailored to ability. Routines are more complex than Level 1. Great for marching band guard. May repeat for growth. Includes equipment and T-shirt. Join Allegiance Color Guard for a fun flag spinning workshop! Students of all experience levels will learn flag spinning, tossing, technique, and choreography to music, while building coordination, self-esteem, and confidence.
