Lifeguard Training 15 years & older Want to become a licensed lifeguard? Sign up for a lifeguard training session this fall. Learn the necessary skills that allow you to become a licensed lifeguard. Training and licensure are through Starguard Elite. Requirements: • Swim Continuously 200 meters • Retrieve a 10 lbs. diving brick from 10 ft. of water • Tread water for 1 minute with no hands Participants must attend ALL scheduled classes. The Dundee Township Park District will recruit lifeguards for employment from these classes. We are always looking for professional employees. Note: Taking this class does not guarantee employment.

Jr. Dolphin Pre-Swim 6-14 years Unsure about joining the swim team, but you have been through swim lessons and want something more? Then look no further than our Junior Dolphin Pre-Swim Team. This pre-team will help you build endurance, refine stroke techniques, and be in a team setting without having the big competitive team feel. Two time trials are held so that swimmers can see improvements. No ISI fee is required for this team, and swimmers will receive a Dolphin swimming cap. Dundee Dolphins Swim Team 8 years & older We are a year-round team that offers a program for all levels of swimmers. Our philosophy is to teach and refine the four competitive strokes, moving the swimmers forward with their progress helping them advance toward their goals. We are an ISI team, home to both recreational and competitive swimmers. Swimmer evaluations will be held on Aug. 28 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Sleepy Hollow Pool.
