We will be hosting a Drive-In Movie this fall at the Dolphin Cove parking lot. Sound will be transmitted through your vehicle radio, so you can enjoy the show in your vehicle or by popping the trunk with some blankets and chairs. Registration closes at 12:00 pm on the day of the event.

Mission Statement We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through exceptional parks, facilities, and community-driven programming. Photo/Video Policy The District occasionally takes photographs or video of participants for promoting/advertising our programs, services, events, activities, and facilities in our brochures, website or agency social media, and other promotional avenues. By registering for, participating in or attending District programs, events, or other activities, the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) irrevocably agrees to the use and distribution by the Park District of his or her image (or of his minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such programs, events and activities for any purpose without inspection or approval and without compensation, rights to royalties or any other consideration now and in the future. Refund Policy If a program is canceled, a full refund will be given. Refunds will be considered for medical reasons if at least half of the program remains. Requests for refunds must be made prior to the program’s completion. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the instruction, a Refund/Transfer Request formmust be filled out prior to the third class meeting. Your input on this form will help us focus on where improvement is needed. To receive a refund, please fill out a Refund/Transfer Request form available at the Rakow Center and the Randall Oaks Recreation Center front desks or on the website. Mail, fax, drop off or email this form to a Guest Services Manager at guestservices@dtpd.org. Upon receiving your completed form, we will process your class refund which will take approximately two weeks. Refunds are subject to a $5 service charge. Approved refunds will be prorated if the class has already started. No refunds for gift cards will be allowed. NSF checks – a $10 service charge will be addressed on all NSF checks. Gift cards may be used toward any Park District membership or programming. Due to a large amount of information provided in the Dundee Township Park District seasonal brochure, a change may occur regarding days, times, fees, or other information after publication. Shotokan Karate 4 years & older These programs provide a variety of benefits for students of all ages, including better coordination, agility, strength, poise and muscle tone. Karate is also an excellent method of self-defense. All classes are taught by instructors from the Illinois Shotokan Karate Club, under the direction of John DiPasquale, four-time National Champion, and President of the American Shotokan Karate Association. Beginner students will not be permitted to register for the current session after the second class date. Registration for continuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but the full class fee is required. Please note that the youth and adult classes will train together. Come to class wearing comfortable clothing (Ex. t-shirt and sweat pants or shorts). After the first few classes, it is highly recom mended that you begin wearing an Illinois Shotokan Karate Club approved karate gi and belt for class. You may order a gi from your instructor in class.

Kodakan Judo-Fall 7 years & older Build your strength, agility, and self-confidence by enrolling in one of these Judo classes. Dance

The Dundee Township Park District Dance Program has class offerings for two years and older. Styles of dance range from ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and pointe. Dance is offered year-round with new class sessions be ginning in the winter, summer, and fall. The winter/spring session includes a dance recital that is typically held in May. We have classes for all abilities and welcome all to come dance with us! Dance classes are held in the dance studio at the Rakow Center.

Preschool Ballet I 3-4 years Learn beginning ballet techniques, basic positions, form at the ballet barre and creative routines. 44300-02 Sept. 10-Nov. 19 Sa/9:00-9:45 am $99(R)/$119(NR) RA Kinder Ballet 5-6 years This class will emphasize beginning ballet techniques and positions. Creative routines and form at the ballet barre will be taught. 44302-01 Sept. 10-Nov. 19 Sa/11:00-11:45 am $99(R)/$119(NR) RA Ballet I 6-9 years Ballet is a base for all dance forms that instills grace and coor dination. This class will include proper placement, barre work, and center work. 44303-01 Sept. 10-Nov. 19 Sa/12:00-1:00 pm $108(R)/$128(NR) RA Ballet II 9-12 years Proper placement and control to execute ballet moves will be included. Students will also focus on strength and flexibility. Ballet III 12-18 years Refining technique, the quality of movement and perfecting skills will all be included in this class.
