The Great Bug Safari 4-12 years Join us for a special evening at the Zoo! Hop on a hayride to search for bugs, discover the fascinating world of creepy crawl ies, create your own firefly jar to take home, and get up close with the Zoo’s amazing invertebrate friends. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or have never picked up a brush, there’s no need to worry— Blue Jean Painting by Tara will guide you step by step to cre ate your own masterpiece inspired by the Randall Oaks Zoo animals. We’ve got everything covered: all painting supplies are provided, and you can sip on wine, soda, or water as you unleash your creativity. Traveling Animal Ambassadors The Randall Oaks Zoo's Traveling Animal Ambassadors bring the wild to you! Our engaging, hands-on programs are perfect for learners of all ages and are customized to fit your curriculum while inspiring curiosity in every person. https://www.dtpd.org/traveling-animals. Meet amazing animals up close, enjoy a picnic in our scenic shelters, let the kids burn off energy on the playgrounds, and explore wide-open spaces for games and fun! Centerville Schoolhouse Step back in time at the Centerville Schoolhouse and experience what school was like in the 1800s—history made fun! Family Camping Festival All Ages There is plenty of summer to enjoy. Kick up your heels with a campout! Bring your friends and family, a tent set-up, sleeping bags, dinner for your family, and let us do the rest. The fee is per person, children under age 2 are free. Fees include guided tours of the Zoo, a campfire complete with S’mores, and breakfast before you pack-up to leave! Registration is required for all par ticipants.
