Read To Me Day 3-6 years Celebrate “International Read To Me Day”with read aloud stories and a breakfast treat. Wear your PJs and come along for the fun! No worries - have fun at the Randall Oaks Zoo! We will discover our creature’s beautiful, gross, and downright wacky sides. Friday Funday is April Fool’s... consider yourself warned. We will have a special evening tour of the Zoo to see the animals and give them a bedtime snack. That’s the snores part. After the tour, we will have a campfire, complete with the s’mores part! Randall Oaks Park Picnic Areas & Shelters Randall Oaks Park has 141 acres of open recreational space with three shelters, six picnic areas, a sand volleyball court, three playgrounds and a 10-hole disc golf course; plus Centerville Schoolhouse Education Tour (reservations only) and hayrides. Randall Oaks Park is perfect for birthdays, reunions, corporate events, anniversaries, church events, scout and school events. Reservations are required for picnic areas and shelters. Reservations for 2022 began on February 7, for residents and February 14, for nonresidents. Reservations can be done by phone (847) 551-4310, faxed to (847) 426-4296, or visit our Park Services office at 750 N. Randall Road in West Dundee, 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Additional Tables: $10 per table Five picnic tables and a grill included. Recommended for up to 40 people. Picnic Shelter Fees Front or Back Shelter $190(R)/$230(NR) Front and Back Shelters include 9 tables, grill, fire-circle, and accommodate 150 guests. Community Shelter $270(R)/$325(NR) Includes kitchen and bathrooms at shelter.
