Dunham Woods Farm is a superior equestrian facility dedicated to providing the best lesson and horse care instruction available for over 50 years. You will explore the proper ways to groom, tack and handle horses. In the saddle, you will learn the basics of riding at the walk and trot. Lessons will be held in our indoor arena during inclement weather. First day of class is orientation and groundwork. Riders should wear jeans or Jodhpur pants and hard soled riding or hiking boots with a small, low heel. Must have an approved riding helmet or bicycle helmet to ride. 14 years & older This class is good for the beginner through the experienced dancer. Dancers can work at their own pace– come for the fun and exercise. Great Class for Mother & Daughter/Son. Join us for fun and exercise if you have never twirled before or are ready to strut your stuff again, join us for fun and exercise. All participants will work at their own pace. But what if you want to dive into editing your photos even more? For example making the photo part black and white, or blurring a background of the photo that just did not blur enough. You will learn to practice hands on with your photos. Get answers on the spot while editing your photos. Below is a partial list of what we cover in class: learn the toolbar, editing RAW photos, blurring backgrounds, making all types of black and white photos - that started color, correct too dark or too bright photos, color correct if photo is too yellow, learn layers, selecting parts of the photo to make changes. Camera modes, aperture, shutter speed, depth of field, close-up flowers photo, methods of focus, ISO, and taking pictures in manual mode. At the end of this class you will have an understanding of your camera and gear so you can use them to their fullest potential. Participants must bring film and 35mm camera that will work in manual mode or digital SLR (removable lens) This class will not cover specific models of cameras for customization. Contractual 24210-00 May 2-16 Th/6:00-8:00 pm $110(R)/$130(NR) RORC 18 years & older Have you always wanted to get more detail in your flower or close-up pictures but struggle trying to accomplish it? Join our class to discuss and practice how to accomplish sharply focused flowers, bugs and other small objects. After learning focusing techniques, we will discuss how to control the lighting and ex posure to really make your images pop. Explore new techniques to see the small world you will be taking photos of; learn about different lenses and filters to help you accomplish our small world photography. Participants must bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera to class including lenses. The use of a tripod is highly recommended for this class and encouraged.
