Fall Program Guide
Athletic Leagues
Youth Basketball League Grades 1-8 Sign your children up now, as this popular program is on a first come, first-served basis. The teams will be formed according to grade level, allowing boys and girls to play both with and against their classmates. Each team will have a volunteer coach. Parents that are interested in coaching, please complete a volunteer coaches application online or at recreation centers. Fun and skills are emphasized. Uniforms T-Shirts will be given to 1st-2nd grade and revers ible jerseys given to grades 3rd-8th for game days. Practice Each team will practice at least once a week. Practice days, times, and locations will vary based on grade level and which team your child is placed on. Practices will start the week of December 5 for all leagues. Games Game days are primarily on Saturdays. Games will start January 7. Some Sunday and weeknight games may be scheduled if needed. Teams may play away games against other surrounding towns. This will be determined based on the number of teams in each league. Times, dates, and locations will be provided for the entire year before the first scheduled game. Practices begin the week of Dec. 5
Supervisor. Evaluations will be held for all players in grades 5-8 followed by a player draft to form teams.
Evaluations Players are not required to attend evaluations but it is recommended . All evaluations are held at the Randall Oaks Recreation Center

Youth Basketball League Skills Contests Grades 5-8 Come show off your skills at the first ever Dundee Township Park District Youth Basketball Skills Competition. Contests include 3 Point Shootout and Free Throw Shootout. Prizes given to winner of each grade group.
