This class will help your child transition from parent and child to child only classes. 14108-00 Jan. 8-Feb. 26 Th/9:15-10:00 am $76(R)/$96(NR) RORC 1 ½-3 years Children will engage with music through singing, moving, imitating, listening, and exploring. Circle time with songs, stories, and free-form art provides an ideal first step toward being on their own. Parents are welcome to attend, gradually working toward separation, with the goal of children attending solo by the 2-4 years Through stories, crafts, and hands-on fun, we’ll journey into the world of the great outdoors, music, and other seasonal- themed adventures. Each themed adventure sparks creativity and curiosity as we discover the wonders around us. Parent/Tot Indoor Track & Field 2-4 years This fun filled class is the track for a positive start into running and fitness. Participants will learn to familiarize themselves with their bodies and movement. Fun track and field activities will help build self-confidence, gross/fine motor skills and overall coordination. With the use of smaller sized soccer balls, players will learn the basic skills of dribbling, passing and shooting. Good sportsmanship, participation and teamwork will be inculcated. Socialization, team work, following directions, key motor skills and having fun will be the focus in this non-competitive environment. About half of the time will be dedicated to each sport. The last class we’ll conclude with a fun windup game.
