Isshinryu Karate 5-16 years Isshinryu classes are taught by black belt instructor Rick Fryer. Instruction includes proper punching and kicking techniques, along with mental discipline, confidence, coordination, and muscle tone development. Participants must follow class rules and show respect to instructors. An initial informational session will cover expectations and rules, with parents encouraged to attend. Those who decide not to continue after the first or second class will receive a full refund. Pagoda Martial Arts System 13 years & older The Pagoda System is a unique blend of several martial arts styles aimed at providing a complete system covering all ranges of self-defense. This program was developed for teens and adults to gain practical self-defense skills, physical fitness, and confidence in their ability to protect themselves. All classes are taught by Dr. Jeremy Butler, Shihan, who is a 5th degree black belt in the Pa goda System with over 20 years of teaching experience. Classes will include basic defense, strikes, joint locks, takedowns, and ground techniques. Beginners are encouraged to register. Youth and Adult classes train together. PreKarate Safety-4-6 years Young children develop flexibility, strength and coordination in fun, yet disciplined activities. This program is specifically designed for growing minds and bodies to enhance memory and agility. Watch your child’s confidence blossom and their skills improve. Karate-7 years & older ISKC ’s karate classes offers a good mix of strength training with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Students increase their coordination, agility and poise, as well as learn the choreographed moves of the kata and the discipline of conforming to the class rules.
