Youth Little Veterinarian School - Dog 4-6 years After “adopting” their very own plush puppy, students will role play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian, including how to properly perform a nose-to-tail exam. These future veterinarians will learn how to sew stitches, remove ticks, make healthy treats and vaccinate their dog. Our staff will give a pretty make-over complete with a hairdo, make-up sparkle, and nail polish application. Decorate a unique craft with paints, stickers, embellishments, and personal ization. Design a beautiful beaded bracelet with a fantasy charm assortment. Staff will play music and run a Fashion Show at the end of class for parents. A fantasy glam bag goes home with each participant. Each person decorates a unique craft with a Neon color and accents like jewels & personalization. They will design a cool beaded bracelet with charm. All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children are grouped by age and always learn age-appropri ate tricks. Sea Turtle Explorers 6-10 years Dive into the world of marine biology on this extraordinary expedition! Our program gives participants a hands-on, dynamic introduction to sea turtles. Each participant will become the caretaker of a plush sea turtle, conduct health checks, explore the diversity of sea turtle species, and join a team effort to rescue and release a Leatherback sea turtle back into the wild. The adventure concludes with a special graduation ceremony, where participants are equipped to advocate for the protection of sea turtles. They’ll also bring to life cuddly polar bears and craft hilarious stories through sequential art, like our silly shaving series. Children’s Theater - Guys & Dolls JR. 8-14 years Guys and Dolls JR. follows gambler, Nathan Detroit, as he tries to find the cash to set up the biggest dice game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they’ve been engaged for fourteen years without ever getting married. Guys and Dolls JR. takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, but everyone eventually ends up right where they belong. This is a tuition-based program, where all actors are assigned parts based on their auditions. Students will study the work of the actor/singer/dancer and use their gained knowledge to develop as performers. Tech week will take place the week of March 17-20. Each Actor will receive 2 free tickets to the perfor mance, seats are first come, first serve. Others will be available for purchase at the Rakow Front Desk. Fee includes a T-shirt for the actor.
