Glitzy Girlz - Sparkle & Spring MOM Night 3-10 years with parent Join Glitzy Girlz for a fun night celebrating MOM! Create person alized spring crafts and design a crystal bracelet with Spring/ Mom charms. Our staff will help you decorate, wrap, and tag your special gifts. Come with your mom or a family member— an adult must accompany and participate. Students will explore themes of communication, compassion for self and oth ers, active listening, conflict resolution, gentle exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, and respect. A qualified instructor will guide the participants in hands-on learning through games, movement, creative writing, problem-solving exercises, and journaling. Chess Scholars Grades K-8 This fun, interactive program improves focus, creativity, and academic skills. Each class includes lessons and guided practice, led by an experienced Chess Scholars coach. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome to learn and grow through the power of chess. Contractual 24241-00 March 20-May 8* F/5:30-6:30 pm $146(R)/$166(NR) AVH *No Class: 4/3, 4/24 Let’s Code It Grades 2-8 Using MIT’s Scratch, a fun block-based system, they’ll learn video game design, loops, control structures, and more while building creativity, confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills— preparing them for the 21st century and beyond. Students should bring a laptop/tablet to class; a keyboard/mouse are recommended, but optional.
