Educational Traveling Animal Ambassadors The Randall Oaks Zoo Traveling Animal Ambassadors come straight to your classroom. Our program is a fun and hands on educational experience for Preschool through High School students, and it’s tailored to your curriculum goals. View the program themes at https://www.dtpd.org/traveling-animals. Reservations Required • Fee: $185 per program • (847) 551-4310 School Groups Plan a field trip to the Randall Oaks Park and Zoo. Have a picnic in one of shelters or areas, visit with the animals, play on the playgrounds or use the open space areas for games. Reserva tions are required for groups of 20 or more. Centerville Schoolhouse Step back in time at the Centerville Schoolhouse and experience what school was like in the 1800s—history made fun! Reservations Required • Fee: $50 per tour (max of 30 people per tour) • (847) 551-4310 All Ages Enjoy the Zoo’s light display as we bring holiday cheer to the animals through songs and merriment. Afterward, we will warm up around the fire. Meet in front of the Treehouse Program Center. Age 2 and under are free. Bring your tent, sleeping bags, and dinner—we’ll handle the rest. Enjoy Zoo tours, a campfire with S’mores, and breakfast in the morning. Kids under 2 are free. Make pies for the goats, camel, alpacas, sheep, cows, and pig with healthy foods and see how they enjoy your creations. We will “bake” first and then tour the Zoo to share the joy of the season. The fee includes a trip to Zoo. Sponsor a Scarecrow During Randall Oaks Zoo Fall Festival September 27-November 2 Gather your family, friends, or business associates for the Great Scarecrow Build on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21. Entry Deadline: Tuesday, September 16 | Sponsorship Fee: $50 All Scarecrow Sponsors Receive • One Scarecrow frame to dress and decorate. Bring clothes and any extras you want to add! • A sign featuring your group’s name will be placed next to your Scarecrow. • Recognition in the Zoo newsletter and on the Randall Oaks Zoo Facebook page.
