Isshinryu Karate 4 years & older Isshinryu classes are taught by black belt instructors Rick Fryer (youth and parent-child classes) and John Shaw (adult classes). Instruction includes proper punching and kicking techniques, along with mental discipline, confidence, coordination, and muscle tone development. Participants must follow class rules and show respect to instructors. An initial informational session will cover expectations and rules, with parents encouraged to attend. Kodokan Judo 7 years & older Build your strength, agility, and self-confidence by enrolling in one of these Judo classes. Judo sharpens mental and physical discipline and can be a means of learning self-defense. Instructor Roxanne C. Miller has more than 30 years of experience teaching Judo classes and she will be joined by her Assistant Instructors Antonio and Jesse Ramirez. Classes will focus on the proper technique of falling, throwing, and pinning. All classes are taught by Dr. Jeremy Butler, Sensei. Sensei Jeremy is a black belt in the Pagoda System with over 20 years of teaching experience. Classes will include basic defense, strikes, joint locks, takedowns, and ground techniques. Youth and Adult classes train together. Pre-Karate Safety-4-6 years Young children develop flexibility, strength and coordinator in fun, yet disciplined activities. This program is specifically designed for growing minds and bodies to enhance memory and agility. Watch your child’s confidence blossom and their skills improve. K arate-7 years & older ISKC ’s karate classes offers a good mix of strength training with cardiovascular and flexibility exercises. Students increase their coordination, agility and poise, as well as learn the choreographed moves of the kata and the discipline of conforming to the class rules.
