This show stars Joe Scalissi an internationally recognized entertainer with the most authentic and accurate portrayal of Dean Martin known today. With their backs to the wall, they decide to create a male strip show to help pay their mortgages and provide for their families after layoffs. Facing economic and in some cases personal disaster, and their insecurities, these taboo-busting boys bare their souls and their bodies. Join us for this empowering tale that proves the naked truth that anything can be accomplished with the right mix of friends and courage. The songs in this 10-time Tony Award nominee capture the spirit of the ’90s, delivering the goods with songs like “You Rule My World” and inspiring lyrics in “Breeze Off the River.”The Full Monty is a working class musical that works for tips. Lunch will be at Fireside Grille in Sugar Grove. Lunch choices are: a grilled chicken breast, French onion meatloaf, Mediterranean pasta or coconut shrimp. All are served with a garden salad, vegetables, smashed potatoes, non-alcoholic beverages and an ice cream sundae. Macy’s Thanks giving Day Parade needs a new Santa. Enter Kris Kringle - a sweet and jolly old man who claims that he is the real Santa Claus. Thus begins this funny, warm, tuneful, and inspirational musical as Kris has to prove his claim in court and teach his cynical neighbor and her daughter to believe in the goodness and love that is Christmas. Meal choices include Chicken and Ribs, Seared Duck, Steak Diane or Vegetarian. Coffee, tea, and milk are included. Adults 50+ years are invited to take trips together to enjoy new experiences, special events, restaurants, performances, and some overnight trips to exciting locations. We often explore the city of Chicago, suburban areas, and even nearby states. Our trips happen year-round, so take a look and get ready to explore with us! Accessibility or Accommodation Requests If you require special accessibility or accommodations for any trips, the request must be provided to the district prior to registering for each trip that you would like to go on. Maureen Christine brings her reverence and admiration of Barbra Streisand to this unforgettable concert. Hayride and Bonfire This is always a fun time. We hop on the hayride, sing a few songs and go around our Randall Oaks Park and property. After the hayride, there will be a bonfire waiting where we will roast hot dogs and make s’mores. Chips and hot chocolate are included too.
